As part of the Crystal Theatre’s 23rd 2025-2026 theater season, the show “Gente di facile costumi” will be performed at the Crystal Theater in Lovere on Saturday 7 (8:45 PM) and Sunday 8 March 2026 (4:00 PM), starring Flavio Insinna and Giulia Fiume, by Nino Marino and Nino Manfredi, directed by Luca Manfredi.

Anna, whose stage name is “Principessa,” is a prostitute who dreams of becoming a carousel operator. She comes home late at night, is messy and noisy, and naturally disturbs the insomniac downstairs. Ugo is an intellectual who makes ends meet by writing for television and film, and dreams of making an art film. He needs some peace and quiet to concentrate. But he obviously can’t sleep or work because of Anna. The night Ugo goes upstairs to complain, Anna, in her confusion, leaves the bathtub faucet running, irreparably flooding the apartment below. At this point, Ugo is forced, partly because of an eviction pending, to seek refuge with the “Princess.” This forced cohabitation begins a confrontation/clash punctuated by incidents and misunderstandings, but also a curious partnership. Two lives at opposite ends of the spectrum, but above all, two seemingly unattainable dreams. From their confrontation arises a whirlwind of disasters, misunderstandings, hilarity, and melancholy fully in tune with the image their creator, Nino Manfredi, has left in each of our memories.
