Show “Mettici la mano”
From Saturday 13 April 2024 to Sunday 14 April 2024 - h. 20:45
As part of Crystal’s 2023-2024 theater season, the show “Mettici la mano” with Antonio Milo, Adriano Falivene and Elisabetta Mirra di Maurizio will be staged in Lovere on Saturday 13th (8.45pm) and Sunday 14th April 2024 (4pm) de Giovanni directed by Alessandro D’Alatri.
Spring of 1943, Naples. A late sunny morning is pierced by sirens: allied planes arrive and the danger of a new and devastating bombing. The scene is a basement that acts as an improvised shelter. In a corner of the room there is a statue of the Immaculate Madonna, who miraculously escaped the destruction of a church. It is here that a strange company finds itself: Bambinella, a girlish girl who survives by practicing prostitution and who knows everything about everyone, and Brigadier Raffaele Maione, who has just arrested Melina, a twenty-year-old who slaughtered the Marquis of Roccafusca in his sleep, of where the girl was the waitress… After the success of The Great Silence, this new unreleased comedy by Maurizio de Giovanni was born almost as a ‘rib’ of the saga of Inspector Ricciardi. Two of his most colorful faces return to tell their stories to the public, but this time live. One with the rigor of the uniform and the other with the lightness of transvestite femininity. The novelty is Melina, an extraordinary look at the female sacrifice of that era.
