The weekend of 5th and 6th of September 2020 will be dedicated to sports, entertainment and shopping in Palazzolo sull’Oglio.

September 5th at 9:00 pm the G. Metelli river park will host Il Sogno di Volare, a dance show. Suspended atop a large fabric skirt, a dancer will float in the air on notes that will transport the spectators, seeking to arouse sensations and memories. The flaps of light fabric will then rise one after the other, revealing other dancers who will start suggestive choreographies.

The show will also be repeated on Sunday 6th September at 9:00 pm. Booking is mandatory, you can reserve your spot on the website dedicated to the event www.ilsognodivolare.it

Sunday 6th September starting at 10 am, the City of Palazzolo will host the regional downhill canoe race, organized by the Italian Canoa Kayak Federation – FICK. The race will take place in the central part of the river that crosses the historic center of Palazzolo sull’Oglio, with arrival at the headquarters of the Kayak Canoa Club. Spectators will be able to see the sports competition along Viale Cesare Battisti coordinated by stewards and volunteers, in order to to avoid gatherings. The awards ceremony will take place on the green terrace of the Kayak Canoa Club at around 4 pm. In case of rain the event will take place anyway.

Always on Sunday 6th September, Affari in Piazza returns for the fourth edition: from 10 am to 7 pm in Piazza Roma and Piazza Zamara, it will be possible to shop at particularly affordable prices, thanks to the sales of Palazzolese traders. At the same time, there will also be the hobbyist market with handcrafted creations!

All events will take place in compliance with the current provisions in force regarding covid-19.
