The Birth of a Dream: The Tadini Collection: Past, Present, and Future
Sunday 1 November 2026 - h. 15:00
On the first Sunday of the month, the Tadini Academy invites the public to rediscover the soul of its collection through a special journey. On Sunday, November 1st, at 3:00 p.m, educational services will guide visitors through a narrative that intertwines art with Count Tadini’s personal story, revealing how a private dream has become a collective heritage.
The visit unfolds through the Museum’s rooms, focusing on the key figures who make this collection unique on the international scene. We will meet Antonio Canova, the genius of Neoclassicism linked to his family by a deep friendship, and Francesco Hayez, an icon of Romanticism who chose Lovere as the backdrop for his emotional bonds.
The journey will continue through the pictorial adventures of Giorgio Oprandi, the “knight errant,” and the masterpieces of Bellini and Paris Bordon. There will also be forays into the charm of the Historical Library and the splendor of European and Eastern porcelain, the collection’s enchanting “white gold.”
An opportunity to rediscover, with a careful and guided gaze, the richness of an artistic tradition that continues to tell the story of the identity of our region.
The meeting point for the guided tour is at the ticket office, at Via Tadini 40.
The cost for the visit is 7 euros per participant. The price includes the entrance fee at € 2.00 and the visit fee.
