The “Memorial Tonino Cossetti – 15° Trofeo Città di Lovere” football tournament returns on Sunday 9 June 2024, which will be held at the “Porto Turistico” sports field in Lovere.

This year too everything is ready for the traditional event on the first weekend of June, at the end of the school year, which brings together young rookies from national and local clubs on the Lovere football fields.

A tournament in memory of Tonino Cossetti, a great football educator who, together with Moleri and Rossi, with enthusiasm, passion and honesty, raised young athletes for years, transmitting to them the true values ​​of sport. The aim with this tournament is to promote sport and fair play among young people, giving them the opportunity to test their skills and create new friendships through football.

With the Cossetti Memorial, sport joins charity, two worlds that often intertwine to support important causes and help those less fortunate. Thanks to the support of fans, sponsors and all those who participate it is possible to raise funds to support solidarity projects. The Memorial’s commitment continues this year too for a new good cause: the project of the LELEFANTE association, to help the children of the Mangalakara Orphanage in India.

The event will involve children from various sports clubs at national level, such as A.C. Spezia, Carrarese Calcio 1908, Atalanta B.C., and U.C. AlbinoLeffe.
