At the Accademia Tadini, art isn’t just something to look at: it’s something to listen to, to question, to experience. For the “Ospiti 3” exhibition, the museum offers an engaging thematic tour in English dedicated to the secrets of Francesco Hayez, the master of Italian Romanticism, known to the general public for his celebrated kisses and his intense portraits, but also a refined and surprising creator of hidden messages. During the tour, participants will be guided on a fascinating exploration of the museum’s rooms, where works interact with one another in a web of symbols, historical references, emotions, and details that often escape the eye. A fascinating journey between painting and storytelling, revealing Hayez’s most enigmatic side: his ability to speak through allusions, to insinuate political tensions beneath romantic embraces, to transform every gesture into a fragment of history. In this experience, the “Ospiti 3” exhibition is not simply a temporary display, but a starting point for reflecting on how the art of the past continues to speak to us in the present. The guest works enter into dialogue with the permanent collection, creating a multi-voiced narrative that invites the public to look with fresh eyes and be surprised. A unique opportunity to approach Hayez’s work differently, more intimately and participatively, through stolen glances, symbolic details, and atmospheres charged with meaning. Designed for art lovers, but also for those curious to discover what lies behind a painting, beyond the canvas.
