The twenty-fifth edition of the International Short Film Festival is back and will liven up the splendid town overlooking Lake Iseo for six days – from Monday 25th to Saturday 30th September 2023.

The historic international short film festival celebrates the milestone of 25 editions, with a series of evenings that will have the theme of writing and screenplay as its underlying theme, with a jury of experts led by President Donato Carrisi.

Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 September | Lovere
– days dedicated to the Occhi sul Lago project;

Wednesday 27 September | Palazzo Bazzini, Lovere
– 6.30 pm: screening of the film “Physical Education” by Stefano Cipani
– 8.30 pm: In-depth analysis of the cinema professions: “the Screenwriter”.
In connection with Doriana Leondeff and Gianni Canova.
Followed by the screening of the film “La giusta distanza” by Carlo Mazzacurati with Valentina Lodovini and Fabrizio Bentivoglio;

Thursday 28 September | Palazzo Bazzini, Lovere
– 8.30 pm: la vita animata di Bruno Bozzetto.
Speakers include Bruno Bozzetto, the writer Simone Tempia and Gianni Canova;

Friday 29 September | Crystal Theatre, Lovere
– 8.30 pm: Screening of the finalist shorts and vote by the popular jury;

Saturday 30 September | Tredici Martiri Square, Lovere
– 4.30 pm: Meeting with Donato Carrisi and Gianni Canova in collaboration with the Mondadori bookshop in Lovere.

Saturday 30 September | Crystal Theatre, Lovere
– 9.00 pm: Gala evening. Awards ceremony for the winning short films, from Occhi sul Lago and from Signora del Lago 2023 Ambra Angiolini. Participants: Donato Carrisi, Doriana Leondeff and Stefano Cipani. Presented by Martina Riva.
