Marked by a pain he has never overcome, Adriano lives in isolation in the Tuscan countryside, far from his loved ones and the world around him. The arrival of a group of young people intent on revitalizing an abandoned estate disrupts his daily life and forces him to confront a past that continues to haunt him. Through conflicts, unexpected encounters, and new possibilities for relationships, the film recounts a journey of rebirth and reconciliation, reflecting on the weight of choices, guilt, and the possibility of finding a second chance.
Nominations for the 2026 David di Donatello Awards, including Best Film and Best Actor for Valerio Mastandrea.
