“Porsellere” festival
From Thursday 16 November 2023 to Sunday 19 November 2023
From Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th November the sixth edition of “Porsellere” will be held in Sellere, the festival entirely dedicated to pork and its derivatives.
The program includes, in addition to food stands, markets, tastings, demonstrations of ancient crafts, good food and numerous collateral initiatives.
Event programme:
Thursday 16 November
– 7.00 pm: opening of the catering point;
– to follow: ballroom dancing with Blue Dance;
Friday 17 November
– 7.00 pm: opening of the catering point;
– to follow: country dance with The Hazzard;
Saturday 18 November
– 7.00 pm: opening of the catering point; Baked porchetta by reservation (349 535 5215)
– to follow: Latin American dance with Salsamor;
Sunday 19 November
– 10.00 am: markets;
– 12.00: opening of the refreshment point; Baked porchetta and pork bones upon reservation (349 535 5215)
– 3.30 pm: “the pork butcher in the square”, pork meat processing;
– 4.00 pm: themed workshop for children organized by the Sovere Library;
– 7.30 pm: refreshment point opening;
– 10.00 pm: lottery draw, the Bienno folk group will brighten up the day;
– to follow: “Arti e mestieri” and Lorenzo with music and karaoke.
Every day: bread and strinù, bread and porchetta, melted cheese, tripe, local ravioli, ribs with cabbage, trio of boiled sausages (traditional salami with soppressa and cotechino), chips, dessert.
