On Sunday, April 3rd starting from 7.30 am in Piazza Cavour in Rovato the first edition of “La VignaStorica” ​​will take place, the cyclostoric in the heart of Franciacorta. The departure is scheduled at 9.30 am.

The event was born from the passion for cycling in all its forms, with the intention of being a free ride along paved and dirt secondary roads, linking sport to the food and wine tradition thanks to the refreshment points along the route, in the most representative villages of the Franciacorta.

The route, with departure and arrival in the historic Piazza Cavour in Rovato, consists of an itinerary of 50 km with 500 meters of difference in height along the roads and gentle morainic hills of Franciacorta, crossing the following municipalities: Rovato, Coccaglio, Cologne, Erbusco, Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Capriolo, Adro, Corte Franca, Passirano and Cazzago San Martino.

Moreover, there will be three refreshment points along the route: in Capriolo with Pa’ e Ret, in Corte Franca, at the Barboglio de Gaioncelli winery, with Franciacorta wine and cheese, and on arrival, at the Foro Boario in Rovato, where it will be possible to taste the Beef cooked with Oil (lunch included in the registration).
