The most original concert of the “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” festival, the Boat Concert, will take place in the center of the northern Lake Iseo between Lovere, Pisogne, and Costa Volpino. At 9:00 PM on Saturday 8 August, aboard the vintage Ligurian gozzo “Nello”, the duo of Massimiliano Milesi (sax) and Gabriele Boggio Ferraris (vibraphone) will present their project “Versus”. This unique encounter, with lightheartedness, self-irony, and ease, ranges from the most radical free jazz to swing-era ballads, from original compositions inspired by the new wave of post-ECM European jazz, to complex metric explorations of the most diverse musical forms.

For the occasion, AVAS Lovere will make its boats available, for a fee of 10 euros per person, to allow those who don’t own one to attend the event. Reservations are required by contacting:

Attention: to ensure the safety of all participants, from this year onwards, attendance at the concert is open to all boats, provided they are fitted with an auxiliary engine.

In case of bad weather, the concert will be postponed on Sunday 9 August.
