On Saturday 20^th June 2026, during the Notte Romantica in Lovere, the light show of “Lovere, il Borgo della luce” will start transforming the town through art and light into an immersive experience of images, emotions, and wonder.

The light show will be on every evening until Sunday 13 September, from 9:30 PM until 1:00 AM.

This year’s featured artist is Denise Shimabukuro, an internationally acclaimed illustrator whose poetic world of delicate characters and  reamlike atmospheres will illuminate Piazza XIII Martiri.

Joining her is Stefano Grassi, an illustrator from the Alto Sebino area, who will present his work between Palazzo Tadini and Piazza Garibaldi.
Through the people who inhabit it, he portrays the local territory, transforming everyday moments, landscapes, and human connections into poetic and contemporary visual narratives.

In Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and on the Civic Tower, Francesco Pegurri, a Lovere-based artist, will showcase a visual exploration of the relationship between light, reflections, and calligraphic forms through an original and contemporary artistic language.

Three distinct artistic journeys that, through the medium of light, offer new ways to experience, interpret, and discover the town.
