Via Ferrata Corna delle Capre

This recently built via ferrata goes up the rocky ridge up to the Corna delle Capre (1232 m) in the Monte Guglielmo massif. The via ferrata is very vertical with a difference in altitude of 280 meters and a duration of one hour.

    Approach path

The itinerary begins in the Cislano di Zone, near the Val Tress Tourist Village and the camper parking area, where the first sign for the via ferrata is located, setting off on the mule track that leads to Croce di Marone (CAI path 226). After about an hour, leave the mule track and turn left onto the “Sentiero dell’uccellatore”, where the CAI 230 trail sign is located. Another 15 minutes of walking and you reach the start, located just before a small house at the foot of the cliffs . Once you reach the summit, keep your harness on, because the way back, which you take by turning left and following the stone men, still includes some sections of equipped descent, at the end of which the itinerary continues along a steep path in the forest, indicated by white-red CAI trail signs. Always keeping left, you return to the starting point of the via ferrata and then to the car, along the mule track.
