Via ferrata Corno del Bene – Monte Guglielmo
This via ferrata climbs the rocky ridge along the Corno del Bene (1625 m) in the Monte Guglielmo massif. It lasts 50 minutes and has a height difference of 200 metres.
Approach path
The itinerary begins in the center of Zone. Follow the signs for the “Bosco degli Gnomi”, where it is possible to admire some wooden sculptures positioned along the path that goes up the Val Vandul. Continuing along the mule track (CAI path 227), you reach a crossroads where you turn right onto path 227A, which is rather steep and allows you to reach the start of the via ferrata in less time, indicated about an hour later on the right.
Once you reach the end of the via ferrata, you can remove your harness, because the descent is on a path. At the summit of Corno del Bene, continue north across a meadow, then turn left onto the CAI 227A path in the direction of Zone.
