The present-day swimming pools in Lovere occupy the area which historically the people of the town have always used for bathing; now there is the Lido and the headquarters of the “Canottieri Sebino” (Sebino Rowing Club), founded in 1908, the only rowing club in the province.

Since the 1970s there has been a range of interventions, leading to the two existing indoor pools, a large outdoor pool with water chutes, a pool-side solarium and an extensive shady area. Swimming lessons and water fitness classes are organised throughout the year; a bar and a restaurant service with a view of the indoor pools and a superb terrace are open all year round.
