The civic library “P.Guizzetti” of Sovere is organizing a 1-hour guided tour of the “Valle del Freddo” Natural Reserve on Friday 2 June to discover and admire the “Bocche del Freddo”.

The reserve contains a particular microclimatic phenomenon which determines the growth of the typical high mountain flora. Gentians, heather, rhododendrons, edelweiss are some of the floral species that can be admired together with the thousand colors of the spontaneous orchids. Sometimes, hares, weasels and squirrels can also be seen.

The meeting is scheduled for 09:00 in the parking lot at the entrance to the Valle del Freddo.

The use of appropriate clothing is recommended; the use of trekking poles and strollers is not permitted.
