Sunday, February 2nd at 4 pm in the House of Music in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, the first event between literature and music will be held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Civic Library.

The theme of the evening will be “Amorose Passioni” from the epistolary novel “The Sorrows of Young Werther” by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to the opera drama “Werther” by Jules Massenet and from the novella “Cavalleria rusticana” by Giovanni Verga to the opera by Pietro Mascagni.

The event is part of the series “Dai romanzi alle romanze,” promoted by the Municipal Administration and the Giacinto Ubaldo Lanfranchi Public Library, in collaboration with the Palazzolo Museo Diffuso Cultural Group, the Corpo Musicale Città di Palazzolo and the Ekologia Italica association.
