#arawordbridge – Massimo Bubola in concert

From 8 to 10 September 2023 the “Arawordbridge, un ponte di parole” festival will be held in Lovere. Three appointments, three meetings, three evenings of music, theater and journalism with Ferruccio De Bortoli, Massimo Bubola, Gene Gnocchi, Eugenio Finardi and the participation of local guests.
The unpublished project is organized by the Araberara periodical and by the Municipality of Lovere. The leitmotif of the three days is the theme of the border, understood as a union, a resource, an exchange of ideas. The same union that Lovere for the territories and Araberara for the news represent in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, Capitals of Culture 2023, united by a border not only geographical but of cultures and traditions.
The events are all free.
The first date of the festival is Friday 8 September.
At 9 pm, in Piazza Tredici Martiri, Massimo Bubola, musician and writer, one of the most profound and refined Italian singer-songwriters, will offer a concert-reading taken from his new novel “I dream so loudly”, Mondadori 2022. Accompanied by his inseparable acoustic guitar Martin D28 and the folk voice of Lucia Miller, the Veronese singer-songwriter will lead the audience on a journey made of poetry, music and stories among his most famous and loved songs: from “Rimini”, “Andrea”, “Hotel Supramonte”, ” Fiume Sand Creek”, written together with Fabrizio De André, “Il cielo d’Ireland”, brought to success by Fiorella Mannoia, “Double long goodbye” and many others. An exciting journey that will allow you to listen and get to know the behind the scenes of unforgettable songs that are part of the collective imagination and Italian popular culture.
The evening will be opened by the young singer-songwriter Fabrizio “Faber” Paletti and the pop, electro, rock band Kerouac 7.
Following Piero Bonicelli, director of Araberara, and Davide Agazzi, director of Bergamonews, dialogue with Massimo Bubola, then the concert.
At the end of the meeting, copies of the book by the Mondadori Lovere bookshop will be on sale, with the possibility of signing copies.
On this occasion, the Loverese lakeside will be pedestrianised.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held at the Crystal theatre.
