From Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th May, the municipality of Monte Isola and the Parish church of Monte Isola organises the 9th edition of the festival “Festa del Salame di Monte Isola“, which will take place in Cure.

The festival programme includes:

• food stand open from 12 pm.
• visit to the museum of old agricultural tools
• inflatable area for children
• an evening hot-air balloon flight on Saturday and Sunday. Price per person: 20€ (Subject to cancellation in case of bad weather) FLIGHT CANCELLED ON SUNDAY, MAY 4TH DUE TO BAD WEATHER.

Finally, as per tradition, the famous “Gara del Salame” (Salami Competition) will be held on Saturday May 3rd and the award ceremony on Sunday.

Typical menus and aperitifs will be served in participating restaurants and bars.

For the duration of the festival, the Peschiera Maraglio – Cure shuttle bus service will run all day (2€):

• Thursday, May 1st: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd: 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
