“In punta d’ali” by Matteo Lonati
From Friday 4 July 2025 to Wednesday 31 December 2025

To Matteo Lonati, nature is a passion that transcends the differences between species and environments. This time it is Lake Iseo, with its calm waters and local fauna, that becomes his subject of choice. Here, the birds that inhabit the shores and islands of the lake are not just animals, but the protagonists of a visual tale that interweaves beauty, silence and expectation. With his camera around his neck, Lonati explores the lake with the same approach that has led him to travel the world: a patient search, guided by instinct and luck. This is not mere documentation, but an invitation to capture the majesty of the birds in their habitat, in a play of light and reflections that transforms each shot into a unique work. A kingfisher, two grebes, rather than the flight of mallards, become symbols of a natural balance that, between water and sky, manifests itself with surprising grace.
The installation of the photo exhibition will be spread through the streets of Marone from July 4th 2025.
