From Saturday 29 November 2025 to Tuesday 6 January 2026, Lovere will host the 2025 winter edition of “Il Borgo della luce – Storie, note e immagini incantate”.

As per tradition, the artistic and scenographic lighting will create a magical atmosphere in which the projected images will take on new life and dimension, simultaneously conveying new perspectives and views of Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The lightshow will turn on every evening in Piazza Tredici Martiri, on the façade of the Accademia Tadini, in Piazza Garibaldi, and in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in the historic center.

Torsten Schrank, award-winning character designer for the Netflix film Klaus, turns Piazza 13 Martiri into a tale of light and humanity.

Animated projections illuminate the heart of Lovere with images that evoke the universal value of giving, kindness, and rebirth.
Inspired by the visual poetry and emotional sensitivity of animated cinema, the artist invites the audience to rediscover the strength of community and the beauty of shared hope in the gesture of embracing.

Alongside Torsten Schrank, the young artist Gloria Verni, aka AIROLG, adorns Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and the Civic Tower with her illustrations.
