As part of the Crystal Theater’s 23rd 2025-2026 theater season, the show “Pasticceri. Io e mio fratello Roberto” by and starring Roberto Abbiati and Leonardo Capuano, with Elena Tedde as assistant director, will be performed at the Crystal Theater in Lovere on Saturday 21 (8:45 PM) and Sunday 22 March 2026 (4:00 PM).

Two twin brothers. One has a mustache, the other doesn’t; one stutters, the other doesn’t. One believes custard is delicate, wonderful, and blonde like a woman; the other knows poetry, poets, and their verses. One is convinced that cream puffs are fragile and defenseless living beings; the other believes they must be sold, otherwise there’s no way to survive. The pastry shop is their home. Their world: melted chocolate, feather-light puff pastry, sponge cake, snow-like meringues, almond biscuits, and Bavarian cream: everything moves, flies, dances, and night creeps in. Two twin brothers, like Cyrano and Cristiano, waiting for their Rossana, and where else but in a pastry shop? A fun comedy with desserts prepared in real time, where two brothers enjoy a symbiotic relationship filled with conflict and tenderness, secluded in their microcosm-like laboratory, sheltered from the harsh elements of life. Performed for 20 years in over 400 performances by two irresistible performers who know how to lead the audience from hearty laughter to bitter irony, all the way to tenderness and poetry.
