On Sunday 22 September 2024, the Accademia Tadini in Lovere, on the occasion of the weekend of the Rete dell’800 lombardo, is offering a 90-minute thematic visit in which Topo Ettore, the librarian, will accompany families and children to discover the Biblioteca el Conte in a fun workshop.

The event will take place at the Galleria dell’Accademia with entrance in via Tadini 40 at 3:30 pm.

The tour includes two moments, the first takes place in the rooms of the Galleria Tadini: guided by Topo Ettore, the librarian, the participants will discover the history of the birth of the Biblioteca Storica dell’Accademia and the birth of printed books: an important historical moment that increased the diffusion of written texts. They will then learn to recognize the most important parts that make up a book, their formats and how they are made. Later, in the second part of the workshop that takes place in the Sala dei Colori, with recycled material and mixed technique, they will build “their own” book to tell their story.
