CVCG Wine

Born in 1952, the “Cooperativa Vitivinicola Cellatica-Gussago” produces all wine denominations located between the city of Brescia and Lake Iseo: “Franciacorta DOCG”, “Curtefranca” and “Cellatica DOC”, “Sebino” and “Ronchi di Brescia IGT”.

The building which hosts the “Cooperativa” is an example of cooperative wine cellar from the 50s, later modernised for technical and productive needs. In particular, following the first Chardonnay harvest for the production of Franciacorta sparkling wine (reaped in 1979), the building was expanded with a new area solely dedicated to Classic Method.

Currently the “Cooperativa” cultivates a dozen member-owned hectares, located in the municipalities of Brescia, Cellatica, Rodengo Saiano and Concesio. This member owned vineyards are situated in protected areas, surrounded by stone walls or in wooded areas, and are cultivated under the direct supervision of the cooperative’s staff.

The wine shop is open from Monday to Saturday morning, also at lunch break. The wine tastings take place in the same time slots or, upon reservation, in the weekend.
