In the heart of Franciacorta, in Corte Franca, the Archetti family has been cultivating vines for six generations.
In 1997, Luca Archetti fulfilled his father Augusto’s dream and founded Il Dosso, creating a winery rooted in a long family tradition. Today, together with his children Matteo and Michela, he continues to celebrate the territory through experience, respect for the land, and a constant pursuit of quality.
Ten hectares of vineyards, situated between 200 and 300 metres above sea level, express the soul of Franciacorta. Historic vineyards are preserved alongside modern plantings, including vines trained using traditional systems such as Pergola Bresciana, Sylvoz and Casarsa, some of which are over a century old.
Each wine originates from a single Ciòs, a term in the Brescia dialect referring to a cru. Stainless steel, barriques and amphorae are tools used to enhance the expression of the land.
