Open Air Cinema – Bombshell
Tuesday 18 August 2020 - h. 21:00
For the month of August, the S. Stefano cinema, in Ome, is offering an open-air cinema festival. On Tuesday 18th August, the movie Bombshell is scheduled.
“In 2016, during a debate with Donald Trump, Megyn Kelly, anchorwoman of Fox News, a television network that represents the American conservative right, presses the future President about his misogyny, and for this reason, she is attacked by listeners and by the president of the network, Roger Ailey. In the same period, the presenter Gretchen Carlson, sensitive to the themes of feminism in an environment not inclined to value women, is fired by Ailey and shortly after she sues the former boss for sexual harassment, thus starting the judicial storm that will sweep the man and will lead to his dismissal. In the wake of the case, Megyn Kelly also officially accuses Ailey, while the young journalist Kayla Pospisil, who had accepted Ailey’s offers to fulfil her dream of making a career at Fox News, finds the courage to leave her post.”
All the screenings will take place in the park of the former elementary schools, next to the cinema hall. Admission ticket is € 4. The screenings begin at 9.00 pm. The ticket office always opens 30 minutes before each show.
In case of bad weather, the screenings will take place indoors in the hall.
