On Wednesday, September 28th at 8.30 pm at the “Caduti del Lavoro” Auditorium in Costa Volpino, the meeting entitled “Guerre, Ancora” is scheduled, as part of “Sapiens Festival”, the cultural review organized by the Reading Association, that between September and October will bring 13 “wise men” to Lake Iseo, Val Camonica and the Province of Bergamo to conduct meetings on the theme of the human being.

The appointment will see the participation of the Bergamo-based journalist Gigi Riva who, as special correspondent of the newspaper Il Giorno – closely followed the Balkan wars of the nineties. In “Il più crudele dei mesi – storia di 188 vite”, published in 2022, Riva instead tells the stories of the victims of Coronavirus in his village, Nembro.
