On Tuesday, August 15, at the Lido Nettuno of Sarnico there will be the 66th Bird Fair and Dog Show.

The Fair of birds and hunting dogs will begin at 5 am with the Registration of the AMOV Championship Competitors. At 6 the traditional singing competition will begin, with stonewalls, rock-clads, blackbirds, finches, larks, thrushes and goldfinches and siskins to dominate. 

The AMOV jury will judge the best singers among the approximately 300 registered birds. Subsequently, around 11:30 the chioccolatori of the area will compete on stage, faithfully reproducing the call song both free-mouthed and with the help of special whistles. There will be a demonstration by the champion of Chioccolo Loris Dal Maistro.

Simultaneously with the singing competition, but in a sheltered area so as not to disturb it, there will be the opportunity to observe the expert trainers of birds of prey of the Do.C Falconry group: during the event it will be possible to take photographs, for example, the beautiful golden eagle, ask questions to falconers about this ancient form of hunting and some lucky ones will even be able to experience the thrill of keeping a hawk or an owl on their wrist.

At 10:30 the dog show will follow where the international judge, Dr. Di Napoli, will examine the beauty of the individual subjects, then decreeing the best dog for each species and the Best in show of the whole event.

Bar and refreshment open from 6.00 to 14.30.

For the occasion, the parking area behind the hunting kermesse will be free for everyone.
