The Department of Social Services, in collaboration with the Italian Women’s Center of Lovere, organizes the following initiatives on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women:

Saturday 25 November 2023
Piazza Tredici Martiri, 5pm at the Red Bench facing the lake
Laying of a red rose in memory of all the women victims of femicide.

Saturday 2 December 2023
Oratory “S. Bartolomea and S. Vincenza” Lovere, 4.30 pm
“L’amore è davvero un’altra cosa” – moment of reflection on the topic of gender violence animated by Chiara Tropea and Gemma Pizzoni.
This will be followed by refreshments offered by the Italian Women’s Center of Lovere and the Social Services Department of the Municipality of Lovere.
