The thirteenth stage of Borgo diVino in Tour 2024, will take place in Lovere during the weekend of 26, 27 and 28 July 2024, a wine festival promoted by the Association “The most beautiful villages in Italy” and organized by Valica S.p.A. in collaboration with the Municipality of Lovere and the Ecce Italia Consortium and with the patronage of the National Association of Wine Cities.

In the splendid setting of Piazza Tredici Martiri illuminated by the Borgo della luce, from 6.00 pm to 12.00 am during the three-day event, visitors will be able to taste a selection of wines from the best local and national wineries from different regions of Italy such as Puglia, Campania, Piedmont, Veneto, Sicily, Marche, Tuscany, Molise and Lazio.

“Borgo diVino” is an event open to everyone, not just connoisseurs: enthusiasts, amateurs, the curious and passing tourists will be able to be won over by a selection of quality wines, to be tasted thanks to a special voucher costing 18 euros that can be purchased online or directly on site. The ticket will entitle you to 8 wine tastings to be consumed in the various areas dedicated to the wineries.

Those most interested in the world of wine will also be able to discover a training course that explains in over 20 panels different aspects of the wine world such as food-wine pairing, the recommended glass for each wine, recommended temperatures, territories and much other information.

A 360-degree tasting experience awaits you, also experienced through a training course set up along the route of the event which accompanies visitors step by step through alleys and squares, for a real journey of knowledge in the art of viticulture and food-wine pairing.

Participants will be able to delight in typical local dishes and other delicacies prepared by the activities of the Square, further enriching the sensorial and cultural experience offered by the event.

Further space will be reserved for the promotion of the typical features of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a unique heritage for quality and biodiversity; the initiative will be carried out in synergy with the MIB – Mercato Italiano dei Borghi, the project organized by the Association “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” in institutional cooperation with BMTI – Italian Telematic Goods Exchange, aimed at valorising typical and of quality of the associated territories.
