On Sunday 17 November 2024, on the occasion of the Legambiente and ERSAF campaign “Cammina Foreste Urbane 2024“, the Circolo Legambiente Alto Sebino offers a free guided tour of the Gola del Tinazzo Park in Castro, a walk of approximately three hours open to all.

The visit will begin at 1.30 pm, the meeting point is at the car park in via Roma (near the Castro pharmacy), the hiking itinerary will wind along via Matteotti, via P. Giovanni XXIII, via Corna, Poltragno, former state road 42 (Lovere), via Bergamo, Via Giorgio Paglia, Via Roma.

To safely tackle the route it is necessary to wear boots and a windbreaker, clothing suitable for walking in a wooded environment and crossing wetlands.

The main objective of “Cammina Foreste Lombardia” is to raise awareness of regional agroforestry properties both in their expressions of beauty and biodiversity and as good land management practices.
