“Canova – Tadini: una storia di amicizia, una storia di famiglia” and for the younger public “Un artista per amico”

The adult public will be offered a reinterpretation of the Stele Tadini, a work created by the master Antonio Canova between September 1819 and April 1821.
When a work of art is not “just” a work, but becomes the testimony of an intimate and affectionate relationship, also revealing the soul and sensitivity of a great artist: Antonio Canova and Faustino Tadini, the friendship and memory.
For the little ones, a short visit to the museum is proposed to get to know the figure of Count Tadini and his son Faustino, in the context of the relationship with Antonio Canova. Having discovered how the sculptor worked, in the laboratory the boys and girls will be able to manipulate the clay and create a small object.
