On the occasion of the “Festival Carta della Terra”, on Sunday, May 26th at 06.00 pm at the Japanese Garden in the Oak Park in Ome, the concert “Field studies” is scheduled by G. Salvo.

It is a sound performance that is part of a series of studies on field recording (a practice of perceptive alteration of reality) and on the possibility of manipulation of environmental recordings through the intrusion of electronic and electro-electronic soundsacoustic, foreign bodies that make the audio image unreal; it maintains the immersivity of high fidelity, but is contaminated by an external agent changing in balance, color and tone. This process emphasizes the fictional character of the recording, further away from the time and space in which the recorded events took place.
