On Thursday 28^th September, at 20:30, at the Civic Cultural Center located at the Tourist Port of Lovere will be held the conference “Insects… and us” by Maurizio Castagna, expert of the Museum of Lovere, curator of the Entomological collections and curator of the insect house in Losine.

The relations maintained with insects until now have been dictated by beliefs and ancient followers transmitted from generation to generation.
Of these we have rarely considered the possible scientific foundation, so the tendency has spread to distinguish ugly, dangerous and harmful insects from other beautiful, good, useful…not taking into account millions of species.
These considerations are the result of the only human point of view, when insects have lived on Earth for over 300 million years, that is, long before us.
To learn to know and repeat them is essential to expand our vision, imagining life also from their point of view, in our absence.
