On Sunday 3rd September, at 9.00 a.m. in Rovato, there will be a trek to discover the beauty of Monte Orfano.

The hiking include a stop at the Big Bench to admire the breathtaking view over Franciacorta and a guided visit to the ancient “Convento dell’Annunciata” with its ancient frescoes.

The walk of about 3.5 km, difference in altitude 120 metres, is suitable for everyone. Hiking shoes or equivalent are recommended.

The event is part of ‘Franciacorta Aperta’, an important action spread throughout the Franciacorta region.

Each municipality has a week to organise initiatives of various kinds linked to the promotion of the area, in collaboration with the main players in their community.
