The museum teaches: the fossils

Hakuna Matata Lake Iseo, in collaboration with the Civic Museum of Natural Sciences “A. Amighetti” of Lovere, organizes “Il museo insegna”, a series of family workshops for children aged 6 to 12, that will take place at the Museum, to explore the world of science while having fun.
On Sunday 6 April, the workshop will start at 3:00 pm, will last about 2 hours and will also include a visit to the Museum of Natural Sciences.
What do paleontologists do and how do they reconstruct life on Earth in the past?
In this workshop, in the company of an expert, children will learn to understand what a fossil is, how and where it is formed.
They will recognize the different types of fossils and understand how to place them on the time scale and finally they will create a fun themed workshop.
It is recommended to bring notebooks and pens.
