The Basilica of Santa Maria in Valvendra in Lovere will host the meeting “Geophilosophy of Europe: between conflict and hope” on Thursday 15 May 2025 with Massimo Cacciari, Italian philosopher, essayist, politician and commentator, mayor of Venice from 1993 to 2000 and from 2005 to 2010 and as moderator Professor Giuseppe D’Anna.

During the event musical interludes by Fabio Bettoli – trumpet, Francesco Cocchetti – trumpet and Giacomo Domenighini trombone.

The event is on free admission and will begin at 8:30 pm.

The initiative, curated by the culture commission of the parish pastoral council, is realized with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Lovere.
