On Friday 6 December at 4:00 pm, at the Civic Cultural Centre in via delle Baracche in Lovere, the first meeting of the “Letture vagabonde tra storia e letteratura” review organised by Auser Lovere will take place, in which Grazia Milesi will present Viola Ardone’s book “Il treno dei bambini”, Einaudi 2019: a novel inspired by stories of authentic solidarity, when in 1946, on the initiative of the PCI and the UDI, simple and generous people offered to welcome children from the regions most affected by war and poverty into their homes, transported by the so-called “Trains of Happiness”.
