From Saturday 11th November to Sunday 3rd December, the EXHIBITION “IL RITORNO DEL TITANO” by Angelo Brescianini will be held at the “Gianni Bellini” art gallery in Sarnico.

OPENING: Saturday 11 November at 4 pm

The 40 works present, selected from large steel plates of dimensions never seen before, designer tables and lighting including lamps and raw earth sculptures and “original multiples” from the last period, unfold in a complex path of increasingly elaborate surfaces, which fascinate and dazzle the viewer. On the other hand, Brescianini belongs to the generation of those artists who were protagonists of a new way of conceiving the work of art, with that set of mental processes, stylistic solutions and technical ideals that detach themselves from figuration, distorting the classical canons, subverting the certainty of space and supplanting a new way of seeing, feeling and creating.
This review intends to demonstrate how a work of art can be created without being forced to use frames and brushes. “My brushes are pistols and rifles that I use in an organized ritual: from the charge of the bullet, to the angle and the shot” the artist continues to tell us. The stages of Milan and Crema will follow.
