Quando il Barbarossa prese Iseo – Cultural Historical Re-Enactment

From Friday, July 29th to Sunday, July 31st, the cultural historical re-enactment “AD 1161: Quando il Barbarossa prese Iseo” (“AD 1161: When Barbarossa took Iseo”) is scheduled in Iseo; three days of events during which the atmospheres of the Summer in which the Barbarossa destroyed and burned the town of Iseo will be re-proposed.
On Friday, July 29th at 8.45 pm the meeting “Jacobus de Ysei: un Iseano ad Anagni tra Papato e Impero” will be held in the Civic Hall of the Oldofredi Castle.

On Saturday, July 3oth at 5 pm the opening of the historical fields is scheduled, with demonstrations of historical archery and concerts of itinerant bagpipes La Zerla. At 9.30 pm it will be possible to attend the historical re-enactment “Barbarossa and the Battle of Iseo”, with fireworks show.
On Sunday, July 31st the historical fields will be open from 9.30 am to 6 pm with historical archery demonstrations.
On Saturday 30th from 10 am to 11 pm, and on Sunday 31st from 10 am to 8 pm, in via Mirolte and Piazza Garibaldi there will also be craft markets.
