The Sistema Bibliotecario Sud Ovest Bresciano’s Festival, which this year reaches its 19th edition, presents a rich programme dedicated to the pleasure of discovering – or rediscovering – books and their authors.

Special places, which serve as an ideal stage setting for the readings and the music that accompanies them.

The leitmotif of this edition will be “The shape of beauty”: beauty, in all its forms, is a gift to be preserved and cultivated.

Meetings with the author and readings with live music offering the public different ways of involvement.

On Wednesday 28th September, at 9.00 p.m. at Municipal Theater in Passirano, the meeting “Dietro lo spartito – Vite segrete dei musicisti” (Behind the score – Secret lives of musicians) will take place, with readings by Barbara Mino accompanied on the piano by Alberto Forino:

“The three greatest musicians in the history of music told through three episodes. Small but crucial episodes that occurred during extraordinary lives. Curious and little-known aspects of Beethoven’s life, Mozart’s first love, the happy accident that led Bach to become an extraordinary composer. And finally, a tribute to the genius of Antonio Vivaldi”.
