The Sistema Bibliotecario Sud Ovest Bresciano’s Festival, which this year reaches its 19th edition, presents a rich programme dedicated to the pleasure of discovering – or rediscovering – books and their authors.

Special places, which serve as an ideal stage setting for the readings and the music that accompanies them.

The leitmotif of this edition will be “The shape of beauty”: beauty, in all its forms, is a gift to be preserved and cultivated.

Meetings with the author and readings with live music offering the public different ways of involvement.

On Friday 18th November, at 9.00 p.m. at “Lorenzo Gigli” School Institute in Rovato, there will be a meeting with the winning author of the Quality Microeditoria Prize “Youth Section” 2022. He will dialogue with Paolo Festa, curator of the Microeditoria of Quality Prize and with the students of the “Lorenzo Gigli” School Institute.

Every year, “Premio Giovani” section sees the involvement of many high school students who, as jurors, read the books in competition, evaluating their involvement, the effectiveness of the plot, the rigour of the research, but also the graphic design. On the basis of rigorous analyses, they then decide on the award of the ‘seal of quality’ to one of the competing works. On this evening, the young people (and the entire audience) are offered the opportunity to meet and talk with the award-winning author.
