On Wednesday 23rd August, from 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. in Provaglio d’Iseo, the Castle, always open and available to the publicand the Church of San Rocco, open for the occasion, can be freely visited .

The Castle, built by the Oldofredi family between the 13th and 14th centuries, is located in a strategic position on the mountain above the Piano delle viti area.

The Church of San Rocco, as suggested by its unconventional structure, was inaugurated in 1868 inside the walls on a pre-existing structure, probably belonging to the Church of Sant’Ambrogio.

The event is part of ‘Franciacorta Aperta’, an important action spread throughout the Franciacorta region.

Each Municipality has a week to organise initiatives of various kinds linked to the promotion of the territory, in collaboration with the main players in their community.
