On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death, will be staged at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rota, on Saturday 17 July, “Virgin Mother – Six Songs of the Divine Comedy” by Lucilla Giagnoni.

Six songs from the Divine Comedy, probably the best known. Six stages of a pilgrimage in the middle of the journey of our life. “Poetry and art are a respite for the troubles of men. This is why I thought that this work was intended above all for churches” (Lucilla Giagnoni).

In addition to Lucilla Giagnoni, Marta Pastori also collaborated on the texts. The music is original by Paolo Pizzimenti. Scenes and lights are by Lucio Diana and Massimo Violato.
