Corteaura Franciacorta was born in 2009 because of Federico Fossati’s desire. Federico, brought up in Veneto, wanted to fulfil his winemaking dream: to produce a high quality wine in a predestined territory. It is for this reason that he travelled all over Italy finally picking out Franciacorta to be the land that, more than any other, would produce the richest and widest range of nuances for his wines. The collaboration with Pierangelo Bonomi, who possesses a huge amount of experience in the field of Franciacorta wines, made the creation of the first production possible. Today Corteaura produces 100,000 bottles and is working on 6 hectares of vines, choosing to buy grapes from all over the Franciacorta region attributing to their wines the largest range of scents and flavours. The entire range of Franciacorta DOCG Sparkling wines includes Brut, Rosè, Pas Dosè and Satén.
