Parish of St. Giovanni Battista
The old parish church, now dedicated to St. Giovanni Battista, is witness to the importance of Coccaglio as administrative center of the vast Roman “pagus” and the role of Christian seat, which made him responsible for organizing Christianity in Northern Italy in the 4th century.
The parish department of Coccaglio also preserves rare and precious treasures, including a canvas by Vincenzo Civerchio depicting Saint Ursula and Saint Anthony.
