The origins
Vincenzo founded “Il Fontanile” in 1983 by buying an ancient village with annexed some historic buildings in whose relevance there was, already existing, a small vineyard. Out of passion in 1985 he began to produce small quantities of wine, even if throughout the 1980s the most important activity of the company remained beekeeping. He manages to raise more than 600 hives, selling honey and its derivatives (cosmetics, pollen, propolis, etc.) even in pharmacies. Meanwhile, as a passionate winemaker, Vincenzo Tallarini participates in some wine competitions, receiving flattering awards. This increases the motivations, which push him to carry out an important project to build a cellar in the Bergamo area, which will be completed at the beginning of the new millennium.

Growth
In the meantime, the vineyard areas directly managed by the company expand, also developing collaborative relationships with some landowners suitably chosen because they are particularly suited to the production of high quality grapes. Overall, today the company can count on a vineyard area of ​​several tens of hectares and is above all recognized as an extremely dynamic wine-growing reality that is attentive to every innovative area, both viticultural and oenological and commercial. Anna and Angelo, the new generation with their respective families continues today in the management of the company by renewing the technique and production every day but maintaining the love for the territory and the tradition that have always distinguished Tallarini Quality
