The fishmonger was founded in December 1961 by Ziliani Teresa as a retailing. In the eighties he also adds his son Antonio Archetti continuing the work of his parents, pushing their catch even in the local markets of the province. Antonio will also be joined by his sister, and it is from here that the company will take the name of Pescheria Fratelli Archetti snc.
In 2010 Lorenzo, son of Antonio, arrived at the company, thus carrying on the family tradition, resuming the production of the typical dried product of Monte isola and maintaining what his grandfather and uncle had taught him.
Since this year, the production of dried fish has received the prestigious Slowfood brand. Archetti are professional fishermen, much of the lake fish we trade, fresh and dried, they fish it personally. In addition, they remained the last to constantly use the laboratory of Monte Isola for all the processing, still maintaining the ancient traditions.
