The trail / der Weg

After parking the car in Pilzone, near the cemetery, the first kilometres are covered on the coastal road in the direction of Sulzano, where the itinerary begins.
Before the bottleneck that characterizes the entrance to the town, turn right and cross the level crossing, going uphill to the right along Via Camontaro, until you cross the path of the Antica Strada Valeriana on the right. It is necessary to continue left, first uphill and then downhill, passing under the overpass of the ring road and again uphill in Via Gazzane. At the crossroads, turn left into the narrow Via Tassano, crossing the village of the same name. At the stop sign, turn right, passing again under the overpass and taking Via Martignago. After a few curves, the road enters the woods and allows, by leveling, to recover energy. Take Via Santa Maria and, with a last effort, you reach the destination: Santa Maria del Giogo. A stop to enjoy the magnificent panorama of the lake and Monte Isola repays the effort made. For the return you can retrace the same road, or, bike on the shoulder, tackle the stepped path that leads to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Giogo and take the dirt road up to the paved road (pay attention to the barrier that could be lowered). Go down to the left and, upon reaching the stop sign, in Località Zoadello, turn right and go uphill for a few bends to get to the Tre Termini Pass. After a descent of 8 km you reach Iseo, take Via Roma and in a few minutes you return to Pilzone, the starting point of the route.

DE – Nachdem man das Auto in Pilzone, in der Nähe des Friedhofs, geparkt hat, werden die ersten Kilometer auf der Küstenstraße in Richtung Sulzano zurückgelegt, wo die Route beginnt.
Vor der Engstelle, die den Ortseingang kennzeichnet, biegt man rechts ab und überquert den Bahnübergang; man geht rechts bergauf die Via Camontaro entlang, bis man rechts den Weg der Antica Strada Valeriana kreuzt. Es ist notwendig, links weiterzugehen, zuerst bergauf und dann bergab, unter der Überführung der Ringstraße und wieder bergauf in der Via Gazzane. An der Kreuzung links in die schmale Via Tassano einbiegen und das gleichnamige Dorf durchqueren. Am Stoppschild biegt man rechts ab, fährt erneut unter der Überführung hindurch und nimmt die Via Martignango. Nach einigen Kurven führt die Straße in den Wald und ermöglicht durch eine Nivellierung die Energierückgewinnung. Man nimmt die Via Santa Maria und erreicht einer letzten Anstrengung das Ziel: Santa Maria del Giogo. Für den Rückweg kann man die gleiche Straße zurückfahren oder mit dem Fahrrad auf der Schulter den Stufenweg nehmen, der zur Wallfahrtskirche Santa Maria del Giogo führt und den Schottersweg zur asphaltierten Straße nehmen (Pass auf die möglicherweise vorhandene Barriere). Man geht nach links hinunter und beim Erreichen des Stoppschilds in Località Zoadello biegt man rechts ab und fährt einige Haarnadelkurven bergauf, um zum Passo dei Tre Termini zu gelangen. Nach einer Abfahrt von 8 km erreicht man Iseo, man nimmt die Via Roma und in wenigen Minuten kehrt nach Pilzone, dem Ausgangspunkt der Route, zurück.
