Circular itinerary that from the centre of Provaglio d’Iseo leads to the Sanctuary Madonna del Corno, the Corno del Creilì, and the summit of Monte Cognolo, before returning to the historic centre.

The trail / der Weg

After leaving your car in the centre of Provaglio d’Iseo, proceed towards via Castello, which leads to the Church of San Rocco. Continue along trail 290, first towards “Pian delle Viti” and then to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Corno, also known as the “Madonnina di Provaglio.”

After admiring the view of the Torbiere Nature Reserve, continue on trail 290 (Proai-Golem) to Corno del Creilì, which overlooks the lake. From here, walk towards the summit of Monte Cognolo until you reach a fork, where you should descend to the right (trail 289), which continues down the valley to the Church of San Rocco. The route ends by taking via San Rocco to return to the historic centre and rejoin the starting point, passing in front of the parish church.

DE – Nachdem man das Auto im Zentrum von Provaglio d’Iseo abgestellt hat, geht man zum Eingang der Via Castello, die zur Kirche San Rocco führt. Man folgt dem Wanderweg 290 zunächst Richtung “Pian delle Viti” und dann zum Heiligtum Madonna del Corno, auch bekannt als “Madonnina di Provaglio”.

Nachdem man den Blick auf das Naturschutzgebiet Torbiere genossen hat, setzt man seine Wanderung auf dem Wanderweg 290 von Proai-Golem zum Corno del Creilì fort, von dem aus man den See überblicken kann. Von hier aus wandert man zum Gipfel des Monte Cognolo, bis man zu einer Weggabelung kommt. Dort hält man sich rechts (Weg 289), der weiter ins Tal hinunter zur Kirche San Rocco führt. Die Route endet auf der Via San Rocco, die zurück ins historische Zentrum und zum Ausgangspunkt bringt. Dabei passiert man auch die Pfarrkirche.
